Your body is the most important piece of equipment you have. Many golfers have no problem paying $500 for a new driver in the hopes of gaining an extra ten yards, when what they may really need is a little more strength, stability, or flexibility. While driving distances have increased over the past few years, handicaps have remained static because most amateurs are neglecting to take care of this vital component of golf. Finding and attacking your physical limitations is the key to improving your golf game, allowing you to increase yardage, play more consistently, and eliminate pain. At Active4 Life Fitness & Golf we utilize the knowledge and expertise that professional golfers have used for years to take their golf games to the highest level.
If chronic pain is keeping you from playing golf as often or as well as you would like, Active 4 Life can help you eliminate the dysfunction in your body that is causing the pain. With our golf-specific Fitness & Strength Training we can target problems such as reverse spine angle and lower cross syndrome, and eliminate these limitations through corrective exercises.
At Active 4 Life Fitness& Golf, we believe in a customized approach to training. Unlike many other facilities, we provide each of our clients with an individualized workout program, designed for their particular needs, abilities, and limitations. Each client receives a customized plan that works for him or her. Because no two bodies and no two fitness goals are identical – no two Active 4 Life workouts are the same.

Golf Specific Training Sessions

A golf-specific training session is a great way to prepare your body for golf. Today most tour players are working out before they hit the course. This is a great way to enhance your golfing experience, reduce your chance of injury, and maximize your playing ability.
We do "outdoor sessions", get outside, enjoy the nature!

Exercise Program Design

Our goal is to design an exercise program specifically designed to meet your goals, needs, and ability level. Our approach to program design is based on fundamental anatomical, physiological, and biomechanical principles. Whether you are looking for a program to drop 10 kilo or just loosen up tight muscles, we have a plan that is going to work for you. Start working out more efficiently and get the results you deserve.

Cardio Programs

Cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise is one of the most important forms of exercise for the human body. Unfortunately, most people are not receiving close to enough cardiovascular exercise. Cardiovascular disease for many years has been the biggest contributor to mortality in Australia. The benefits of cardiovascular exercise are well known. Some of the benefits of a cardiovascular program include:

  • Increased muscular function and capacity (especially the heart)
  • Decreased body fat
  • Increased energy levels
  • Greater sense of well-being and a decrease in anxiety and depression.
  • Decreased LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and increased levels of HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol)
  • Lowered blood pressure, <
  • Cardiovascular fitness protects the body against a host of diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, stroke, hypertension, diabetes, and osteoporosis.

Weight-Loss Specific Workout Programs

Is losing weight a major goal for you? Are you working out faithfully and still not losing any weight? Balanced Nutrition and Exercising the right way is also an important factor. Many people simply do not understand the variables that contribute to weight loss. At active 4 life we can help you with nutrition advice and a suitable program to reach your goal.
Dedication To Consistent Exercise

  • Dietary Balance- Food Is Not The Enemy
  • Building Muscle For Increased Metabolism
  • Stress Reduction
  • Getting Enough Sleep
  • Staying Hydrated

These are all keys in losing and maintaining weight loss. While some of these variables are proven more important than others all these variables contribute greatly to facilitating weight loss.
Functional Fitness Workout Programs
Walk& run without knee pain, or pick up your golf ball without wrenching your back, At Active 4 Life Fitness& Golf we have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with a customized functional training workout program. The terms functional fitness and functional exercises are the latest gym buzzwords. We focus on building a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life positions, not just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealized posture created by a gym machine.

“The key to functional exercise is integration and teaching the entire body to work together. It's about teaching all the muscles to work as a unit rather than isolating them to work independently. This style of workout produces a body that is strong, flexible, and athletic."

Flexibility Programs

Stretching is a frequently overlooked component of many conditioning programs. Stretching has several benefits, including: injury prevention, enhanced performance, improved joint range of motion, and decreased muscle soreness after exercise. Static, dynamic, PNF and functional stretches will be customized to your specific needs, sport specificity and postural needs.
